HISTORY
"George and Sim" has been a name associated with the Port of Melbourne ever since 1923, when Captains Stanley Sim and George Moira commenced a Marine Surveying business at the bottom end of Queen Street. This partnership was first incorporated in 1975, and after a restructure George & Sim Marine Surveyors Pty. Ltd. was formed in 1998 in order to maintain this proud name in the Maritime Industry.
As a privately owned marine surveying company based in the Port of Melbourne, it aims to provide a detailed, personalised and quality service to the commercial shipping industry.
George & Sim Marine Surveyors provides services to the major carriers servicing the trades from Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
